Outfit of the Day For a Short Trip Home

Last week I drove back to my hometown for a few appointments and to visit my parents. Since my Dad takes a lot of my photos, we normally try to fit in a photography session when I come home. I also ran errands, met a friend for coffee, grabbed dinner with another friend, and got to meet a super fun missionary family that my parents invited over for dessert! It was a busy but relaxed couple of days, and this was the perfect outfit for my low key mood.

This combination is so comfortable, it was almost like wearing pajamas, but with a more put-together look. I’m wearing the Undertech Undercover Leggings, which have a built-in holster pocket for my SIG P365. When I want to wear leggings as normal clothes and not to work out, this is the pair I grab. I especially like them for concealed carry while driving! Sometimes holsters can get uncomfortable when seated in the car, but I can barely feel the gun in this pair. I think this outfit would be great for air travel too! Without the firearm of course.

I styled the leggings with a chambray tunic (Banana Republic), cardigan (TJ Maxx), and leather loafers are made by White Mountain. These pieces are no longer sold, but if you want to re-create this look I think it would be pretty simple. Feel free to play with different colors and textures. Just make sure to choose items that you can move around in and feel comfortable!
