Peplum Top Styled 3 Ways - Great for Concealed Carry

I wanted to share this top from a brand new online boutique called Wren & Crew. (You should check them out, they’re pretty cute.)

What I like about this shirt is the thin, textured material. It reminds me of a thermal knit that you might find on a Henley, but it’s more breathable which makes it a perfect transition piece into cooler weather. Plus, it’s great for concealed carry because it’s roomy, the ruffle creates folds in the material, and the fabric is textured.

They sent me a few tops to try, which you may have seen on my recent Try-On Haul. This yellow one is probably my favorite, so I thought I’d share a few ways to style it!

Also, Wren & Crew is offering a limited time discount for my audience until 8/27/2020. Use code: NATALIE25 at checkout for 25% off any purchase.

Pair with shorts for a style you can wear now! The cut offs and sneakers are great for a casual look, but you can also make it more chic by choosing a tailored pair of shorts. I found that the shirt concealed not only my firearm, but most of my jeans as well. That’s why I tucked in a portion of the ruffle, but I think it also adds some style.

For a dressier (but still casual) look, pair with black jeans and something leopard print such as a purse or pair of pumps. I think the soft yellow looks great with leopard and it reminds me of Fall. I added gold layering necklaces and a purse with gold detail to pull the ensemble together.

Concealed Carry note - Sometimes a belt and kydex holster can feel bulky and difficult to conceal, but this flowing top worked great!

You could wear this top with cropped jeans and a pair of ankle booties. Light colored boots are supposed to be a hot item this fall, so I “went shopping” in my closet and found a pair I bought a couple years ago. To balance the outfit out, I layered on a beige jacket and completed the look with gold accessories, including my favorite watch.

Chime-In!
