Last week I traveled back to my hometown for an appointment and decided to stay a few days to spend time with my parents. Of course, I brought my Vaultek LifePod along to secure my firearm. I use the thing almost every day, but when I travel… now that’s when it really shines ! It’s just so lightweight and it fits perfectly in my overnight bag.

The few days away were refreshing! My parents and I had a leisurely breakfast, mom and I did Yoga, and we even went cross country skiing. It was nice working from their house during the day. Switching up my work location really helps me avoid the feeling of being stuck, which I can get if I’m in one place too long.

As I was packing up, I remembered how concerned I used to be about securing my firearm on overnight trips; especially if there were portions of the day that I couldn’t carry on my body. For example, going into a museum that doesn’t allow guns, or participating in an activity like rock climbing where it may not be safe or practical. When you travel, you can store your gun securely during activities that don’t allow you to carry. Just make sure you know where you can and cannot bring your firearm. If the location prohibits firearms you may need to leave the safe in the car or wherever you’re staying.

I take care of my LifePod because I think it’s pretty and I don’t want to scratch it, but the sturdy design was actually made to withstand high impact (like falling rocks).

Even if you’re not bringing a gun, the LifePod can protect other items like your phones, money, sunglasses, etc.
